Lot: 167 Freeblown Glass Hat Whimsey, probably New England, 1830-1860. Cylindrical hat form, medium olive green, sheared and tooled rim - pontil scar, ht. 2 inches, rim dia. 4 inches; (light wear around edge of rim and body of hat, 3/8 inch bubble burst on interior base). Similar in form and construction to McK plate 75, #12 A very attractive hat, blown with crude, bubbly glass. Fine condition. Purchased from Cliff Blake, Dr. Paul S. Andreson collection.
