Lot: 43 Umbrella Ink Bottle, America, 1840-1860. Octagonal, brilliant cherry puce, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 2 1/2 inches; (just a hint of exterior high point wear). Similar in form to C #145 A great example with all the glass character one could ask for. Unusual and rare with two embossed "dots" on panels. Beautiful color. Fine condition.
