Lot: 120 Pattern Molded Salt Cellar, 24 ribs swirled to the left, Midwest America, 1815-1840. Double ogee form bowl with short stem drawn from the same gather, applied circular foot, brilliant amethyst, tooled rim - pontil scar, ht. 2 7/8 inches, greatest dia. 2 3/4 inches. Similar to McK plate 23, #6 A nearly identical example is pictured on the dust jacket front cover of Two Hundred Years of American Blown Glass by Helen and George S.
