Lot: 33 "Patterson's / Excelsior / Ink" Bottle, America, 1860-1870. Octagonal, aquamarine, applied round collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 2 1/2 inches, dia. 1 5/16 inches. Similar in form and construction to C #542 Big, crisp embossing and an interesting hinge mold base. Several pieces of excess glass are pushed into the reverse panels. Unlisted in Covill's text.
