Lot: 82 "Lippman's / Great / German Bitters / New York / And / Savannah. Geo" Bitters Bottle, America, probably circa 1871. Square with beveled corners, medium orange amber, applied sloping collared mouth with ring - smooth base, ht. 9 1/2 inches; (light patchy exterior stain, moderate interior stain). R/H #L-98 Jacob and Lewis Lippman were only in business in New York for one year (1871). A rare bitters bottle with bold embossing.
