Lot: 147 Pitkin Type Inkwell, 36 ribs swirled to the right, probably Pitkin Glass Works, Manchester, Connecticut, 1783-1830. Conical, deep olive green, tooled flared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 1 1/2 inches, greatest dia. 2 3/8 inches; (light exterior wear). C #1154 This appears to be the same item pictured in Covill's text.
