Lot: 220 Freeblown Chestnut Bottle, probably England, 1780-1800. Medium yellow olive with a light blue "glass gall" hue in the base area, tooled flared mouth with applied string rim - pontil scar, ht. 7 1/4 inches; (patchy interior stain, mostly in lower half of bottle). Similar in form and construction to AG plate 277, #1 This example has a wonderful exterior surface and early form. Generally fine condition.
