Lot: 274 Pitkin Type Flask, ribbed and swirled to the right, 36 ribs, probably Pitkin Glass Works, Manchester, Connecticut, 1783-1830. Bright olive yellow, sheared mouth - pontil scar, ht. 7 1/4 inches; (light exterior high point wear, 1/8 inch fissure at mid body). Similar in form and construction to MW pg. 315, #2 This flask is a real handful being a bit larger than most. Beautiful color and mold impression. Generally fine condition.
