Lot: 36 "Jno / Ayre / 1788" Sealed Black Glass Wine Bottle, probably England, circa 1788. Cylindrical, medium to deep olive green, tooled mouth with applied string rim - pontil scar, ht. 9 7/8 inches, dia. 4 1/2 inches; (several chips on top edge of mouth, the largest being 3/8 inch, light interior haze, light exterior high point wear).
