Lot 22: Pitkin Type Flask, ribbed and swirled to the right, probably Pitkin Glass Works, Manchester, Connecticut, 1783-1830. Light yellow green, sheared mouth – pontil scar, ht. 7 inches. Reference: American Bottles & Flasks and Their Ancestry by Helen McKearin & Kenneth M. Wilson, similar to plate 88. Fine condition. An unusually tall Pitkin flask. Property deaccessioned from the Suffield, Connecticut Historical Society to benefit its collections fund.
