Lot 28: Freeblown Covered Sugar Bowl on Pedestal, probably early Pittsburgh district, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1815-1840. Bulbous bowl with domed cover and partially ground ball finial, supported by a standard with knop, delicate sapphire blue, tooled galleried rim ; applied flat circular foot, pontil scar, ht. with cover 9 ½ inches, greatest dia. 5 ¼ inches.
